Hussain Dada or Bad Boy Dada, began his professional music career in 2016 with his debut single "Burger" featuring Mass Murder. His breakthrough came in 2018 with "Rude Boy," which brought him significant attention within The Gambia's hip-hop scene.

Dada combines hip-hop, Afropop/Afrobeats, and contemporary African influences, drawing on Gambian culture, everyday experiences, social issues, relationships, ambition, and street life — with a willingness to address social and political subjects head-on.

His catalogue spans Bad Boy Dada (2021), International Localo (2023), Louder (2024), and Senji Jelu (2025), with collaborations including Jizzle, Skepper, and Big Banga. In 2023 he toured Europe — Germany, the Netherlands, and Italy — expanding his audience beyond The Gambia.

Beyond music, Dada is active in humanitarian and community-oriented work and advocacy for Gambian artists, and was shortlisted for the Young Achievers Africa Awards 2024/2025 in the Best Young Achiever Male Artist category. His strong visual identity and fashion sense have made him one of the most distinctive personalities in contemporary Gambian music.
